Where the river runs wild. A magical party made possible by the moon.
Why?
Coming from the high paced world of television, you need a moment to wind down and switch off from work. And that’s what Hat Trick Productions wanted to create; an engaging summer party that offered as much or as little activity as their people desired. And we had the inside track on the perfect venue – The Secret River Garden.
What?
With creativity at the heart of the production company’s work, they wanted their party to be equally imaginative. And it doesn’t get better than a secret riverside venue, wild and romantic that, thanks to the tidal nature of the Thames flooding the gardens at full moon, is only available for a few events each year.
How?
Transporting guests from the city to this magical world of secret doorways, undiscovered trails, walled gardens, and hidden delights was the start of the adventure. Wandering acoustic musicians, Tommy & Sons greeted the guests, the perfect soundtrack to a lazy afternoon in the sun, watching boats go by whilst sipping beers. There were garden games on the lawn and hidden treats in the woodland for the more active.
As dusk fell, we revealed a rustic marquee adorned with British garden flowers, with an outside bar and BBQ. And then, as the moon rose, fires were lit, and guests enjoyed toasting gourmet marshmallows by Marshmallowist before hitting the dance floor.
